GuitarG20 macrumors 65816 Sep 26, 2012 #2 could be an issue with the temperature sensor on your GPU... how old is your MBP?

It's a refurb 2010 model bought in 2011. snaky69 said: You GPU sensor is most likely dead or disconnected. Click to expand... Is it a serious issue, or could I just ignore it as long as the fans are running?

mgartner0622 macrumors 65816 Sep 26, 2012 #5 I'd try resetting the SMC before you go any further. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

If re-setting the SMC doesn't cure the issue, I'd be inclined to ignore it...We know that temps of -127 are being mis-reported.
