iPhone 5 Music - How to play genre

Hello,

I think I might be going mental and I cannot find a solution, but does anyone know how to play music from genre. on iOS 5 You could go to music > more > Genre and then select your genre to play. However on iOS 6, when you click on genre then the genre you want to play, it comes up with the artists to select :(. Am I a total f***tard or is there something else I should be doing
