Apple made more black iPhone 5 than white?

I have a feeling Apple, looking at past customer demand of 4S, made more black iPhones than white iPhones.

It is almost impossible to get a white one because they are all sold out.

I believe traditionally they sell far more black models than they do of the white ones. Therefore they would produce more blacks ones. If its difficult to find a white one, perhaps they underestimated the potential demand for the white. Be patient and you'll find a white one soon enough.
