Neither company has ever confirmed it for any product.
The closest we ever got was Apple revealing that Corning was one of their vendors.

It hardly matters with such a scratch prone, easy scuff body. First we had this form factor but had to cover it with a case so it would make phone calls.

Now we've got to cover it due to it's dainty finish. What Apple won't do, just to be able to brag about being different. It's a strange duck alright.

It ought to be fun imagining what Apple's got in mind for the next iteration. :)

Never a dull moment in AppleLand.

In jobs biography it does say that every iPhone uses gorrilla glass, and the iPhone is the main reason why gorrilla glass is made now. It was originally devloped in the 60's but Corning couldn't find a use for it, so it was shelved until jobs told them to make it.
