Hi guys,

Long time reader first time poster. Unfortunately today was not my lucky day. Went for a swim and the iPhone 5 decided to come along for the ride. Yes you make take 1 or 2 jabs at me for this.

Its not turning on, charging of showing any signs of life.

A couple of questions

1) Does Apple still do $199 replacements for water damaged phones slash does it extend contract?
2) Generally, do they have replacement models in stock already at their stores or not?

Any other advice would be much appreciated!

Best,
