This is how I normally go about my updates on my iPod (Without physically connecting my iPod to my computer, and so far, it hasn't deleted anything) but since this is more of a "leap" I'm not entirely sure.
What I want to know is what will be deleted? I have apps that I don't want deleted along with songs I don't want deleted, especially since they're songs that I did not sync from my computer and therefore are not stored on my computer. I could of course, use iFunBox and back up all my songs but I'd be more sketchy on backing up apps since it would be more complicated.
And, I have some other questions. Would the update make my iPod slower? How about taking more space on my iPod (By making an increased partition size)?
