I updated from JB 5.1.1 to 6.0 last week and everything has worked great except for one thing-While I was JB I had it to where the stock weather app icon had the temperature attached (much like how the phone app shows when you have missed calls or voicemails). I just restored my phone, but it's still there.

Any ideas on how to remove this? It's stuck on 69 degrees.

You probably restored to a backup which corrupted minor parts of your new stock upgrade with remaining bits of jailbroken code.

This type of abnormality is typical when you do that.

I recommend, new firmware level (iOS5 --> iOS6) never restore to backup, just restore your content using the tabs in iTunes.

I completely agree with dhlizard.

Also, I'm not sure you installed this, but I think I remember seeing an App Store weather app which had the red badges that showed the weather. Did you install that app on iOS6? Or are you 100% sure it was a jailbreak package? Anyways, just throwing this out there.
