Apple Mail won't connect via IMAP

After the most recent update, Apple Mail has refused to connect via IMAP on my Google Apps, GMail and iCloud accounts.

SMTP out is green, but IMAP shows all red.

I've made zero changes to this configuration in years.

Turning off SSL does nothing to alleviate the issue, though that's the only option I'm told might work.

Help!

Now I just feel dumb

Repaired keychains and permissions, no change.

Then I thought to myself...you restarted, right? Of course you did, because you wouldn't be dumb enough to not do that, would you?

So then I restarted and it's back up. Sigh.
