Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows what the processes MessagesViewServ and MolbileSlideShow do and how I can "restart" them. I've been having battery issues on my iPhone 5 and according to the Carat app by AMP Lab restarting these two processes should improve my battery by 2 hours each. While I don't take these expected battery improvements at face value I'm hoping that it would at least marginally help. Google search for these turned up no results. Thank you very much.

MobileSlideShow is the Camera and Photos app. Killing it or restarting it won't help as it is a very well programmed application that uses no resources when it is closed.

I'm seeing MessagesViewServ, too, and assume it has to do with SMS/iMessage, but killing the Messages app didn't make it go away...
