Few HW questions regarding power and RAM

1. I will have a Mac Pro 2009 that will be from UK which uses different power cord/sockets. From what I know PSUs in these computers should be compatible worldwide. Now I need compatible power cord with correct plug. A reseller told me that any standard CEE 7/7 cord would do. Just want to check with you if it's right.

2. I might be upgrading RAM. Mac Pro shouldn't have problem running higher-clocked RAM right? I'm thinking of putting 1333Mhz certified ram for Mac Pro 2010 into the 2009 model. The reason is that 2010 16GB is cheaper than 2009 and I'd like it buy in one stick.
Quad 2009 can take up to 48GB right? Also, I might be swapping to 3.33 Hex's and flashing the firmware to 2010, that should enable higher clock for this RAM, am I right?
Is it ok if the RAM will be mixed clockspeed-wise? Let's say I will have 1x16GB 1333Mhz chip and three 2GB 1066Mhz chips.

3. This is more software oriented. I plan on running 10.8 on the machine. Just looking at GPU upgrades (I will have ATI with the machine) for the future.. I use Adobe CS5 and I'd like to use CUDA support. What are my options? I don't want anything high-end, more like mid-range card for nice price with the support.

I'm thinking of using non ECC ram. Would that be a risk? Is it as easy as picking it up at the right clock speed (1333) and type (DDR3)?

I tries using search function but havent found what I needed. Maybe someone can point me to an old thread.
