I leave LTE on all the time but I'm on wifi at home and at work. I listen to music during commute. Facebook, WWF, texts/iMessage and emails. The only push I have on is iCloud. I do run mine down until it dies every time before I charge it. I get notifications all day long. I don't use any games except WWF and I don't stream music or anything. I have to plug it in and charge it every few days. Sometimes I get 3 days, sometimes I get 2. I set up as new and didn't restore from old back up. This screenshot is from tonight....
