Check mark near the battery icon on phone 4s

Well first I have never seen this before, but it's right by the battery icon on my status bar, is it for notification that I accepted something?

Yes it's jailbroken, and for some reason when I take a screen shot it blocks out the status bar

It's almost impossible to tell without a screenshot. I'm guessing it was some kind of tweak/theme that you added that changed something in the status bar.

I haven't modified anything on my tweaks in over a week, as soon as I get my phone set the way I like it, it stays that way for a while. How will a screenshot make a difference, do you not understand what a check mark looks like?

Oh this is rich. I do understand what a checkmark looks like. Since it's not a default icon, it's most likely from something that you downloaded. I'm working with a student, at this very minute, who has a virus on their computer. They didn't knowingly download malicious code, but it happened, and now i'm fixing it. Since it's a jailbroken phone, and this check mark you're describing doesn't exist as a stock icon, it came from a tweak or jailbroken app that you downloaded.

Standard procedure to fix something broken, or find out what an unknown icon is:

1) Disable everything
2) Reenable 1 by 1 until it shows up.
3) Culprit found.

Perhaps a bit more work on your part complimented by a bit less attitude.

Does it happen to be a blue box with what looks like a check mark inside it? If so, that could be the IntelliscreenX unread mail statusbar notification (assuming you have IntelliscreenX downloaded). If you do, try toggling the option in settings>intelliscreenx and it should go away.

My guess is lock info beta. Think it was from a reminder and isn't properly clearing.
