sorry this is old stuff!

i have mid 2009 MBP with 10.5.8 and want to upgrade to 10.6 (yes i know its late). I need to upgrade to run new software.

Obviously hard to find the original disks but amazon sell them around $140.

However, there are also some software webs that sell it (and other software) very cheap $20-$30.

i looked into them and found that Soft Buy (programs-outlet) seems to have a dodgy history and ceeteesoft also seem a bit dodgy as no info on their web's below.

Apart from amazon, any where else i can buy or upgrade? Or should i just order from amazon?

any help appreciated as i am in Indonesia!

thanks.

thanks..

after running around for over an hour with and getting nadda from apple 'resellers' here...i call apple in australia who gave me apple indonesia's no (which is covered by apple in singapore as apple do not have an online store in indonesia) i found out that i can get a disk in singapore.

But...they dont ship to Indonesia so i have to get it sent to a mate in singapore then get him to send it here.

I also tried to order a rmbp with 16gb here but they don't sell them as 16gb is 'custom' spec (you cant order 'custom' spec here) so you have to order in singapore and ship to a mate and fly there to get it..then of course get around customs on the way back in.

why the long story...you guys in USA and euro land are so lucky!
