Hi everyone,

I have a month old rMBP. Last night, when I wanted to wake it up from sleep, the keyboard and the trackpad was not responding. Its not that the system freezed, but only trackpad and keyboard was not working.

Restarting does not usually solve the problem, and when it does, the mouse and the keyboard becomes unresponsive after random amount of time.

I also use a magic mouse and it does not work either.

I saw a similar thread here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1458007/

Try to use Internet Recovery to reinstall Mountain Lion. If all else fails, RMA the MacBook or visit your nearest Apple Store.
