Yes. If you are interested in the refurbs for any line of macbook pros please look up RefurbMe or something like that or "track macbook pro refurbs" on google and there should be widgets which notify you when they appear so you can quickly snatch one up! Don't pay full price for these toys.
I had one for some time before returning it to Apple, exclaiming that they disappointed me by not putting all that great innovation into refreshing a 17" MacBook Pro instead. My husband had one as well, both of ours were 2.7Ghz, 16GB RAM and 768GB SSD, his sold on ebay and we got back a little extra for it because we're Canadians (an American bought it).
