Week 40 and above - Page 3

My white VZW week 40 has a scratch in the aluminum on the backplate and little nicks on the chamfer. I have an appointment with a genius on Saturday to replace. If they give me a white box replacement does it void my ability for a full refund return?

Week 40 black 16gb att..very minor scratch on back bottom glass but barely noticeable ....My first was week 37 and all ****ed up....Week 40 iP5 is B-A-YUTIFUL...LOL

So I just found out that my soon-to-be-delivered black 32gb will be a week 38. A little disappointed and crossing my fingers that it won't have any flaw.

The other white 32gb that I ordered for a friend that will be delivered on the same day as the black 32gb will be a week 42.

How is it that a week 38 black being shipped later than those week 40/41 ones that you guys already have received?

Worry not.

Mine is a week 38 black/slate with no issues.

Try not to get too tangled up in the week number.

When did you place your order that you're getting a week 38? Also, are you with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint?

Week 40, Black, Scratched and nicked, and chipped really good especially around the sim card slot. Just going to wait my 30 days and swap eventually. No rush.

The 32 & 64's places like Verizon and AT&T have plenty sitting around since launch day as the larger ones are the slow sellers.

How do you know what week you are going to get if they have not even shipped yet?

I'm thinking about returning my 64 black, week 37 and ordering up a new 64 white.

Replacement - retail box - Week 40 Black 16 gig ATT - Very light scratches in back edges of phone. Will replace.

Wife's Phone Week 40 White 16 gig ATT - Flawless.

When you did the replacement in the store, did you have to activate the new phone again and get charged an activation fee? Or just swap sims cards? My week 40 16gb black also is all nicked and scratched up.

Just picked up a week 42 today (it was made just a few days ago!), and it is B-E-A-utiful!

Nope, not that I am aware of, when i did the swap there was no sim card switching.. they did it all from their "retail POS" iphone. Was in and out in about 10 mins - didn't even open the retail box till I got home, the replacement phone was already setup to my ATT account when I powered it on.

Placed the order on apple.ca on Sept 26th. Both the week 38 black32gb and week 42 white32gb were shipped out on Oct 20th.

As soon as it was shipped, I could view the invoice and see the serial number, and just looked up its build info with the serial number.
