P2P Web hosting?

Hello,

I have a microcontroller which is able to connect to and call PHP scripts and functions stored in a web host thru the internet.

Is there a way to create Adhoc networking for it? Aka, instead of calling from a remote location, the microcontroller and a PC web server will be close to each other, the PC acting as a hotspot, and microcontrollers/other devices within range of the hotspot can call it's html/php files. So totally no internet connection at all, not even localhost. The only 2 devices I'm allowed is one microcontroller and one PC/Mac, no routers etc.

Any software/ links which can point me to what I'm trying to implement?

EDIT: It's better if its an iPad or mobile device providing the hotspot.
EDIT2: It's also better if the program for the microcontroller is untouched, ie, from the microcontroller side it still sees the PC as a remote host or localhost instead of adhoc.

Thank you.
