I just noticed that some favicons (those little icons in the menu bar and in bookmark menus) are showing correctly in Safari 2.0.1 that did not show properly in Safari 2.0. One of the sites I designed http://www.additionassociates.com, is one example. I used to have to switch to Firefox to check to see if it was working, but now it works with Safari.

I think the blogger favicon is the same, I though I remember it not working in Safari 2.0, but I could be mistaken about that.

So I actually haven't upgraded to 2.0.1 yet. For that additionassociates link, I see the favicon as a yellow square with a stylized black A in it. What did you used to see pre-upgrade?

Thats it, so maybe its not the update. But for me, it didn't work before and it does work now! I thought the update was the most likely explanation. Maybe not.

EDIT: what about the blogger favicon like at http://michaelyon.blogspot.com/
Does that one work for you?

The favicon I get for Blogger is the orange symbol on the left of this picture:

But I do understand what you're talking about. I visit a site that doesn't have favicons in Safari 2.0, but does in DPA2 -- it's a forum off of EZBoard. On DPA2, all the forum pages have favicons, but in Safari 2, only the main EZBoard page has a (different) favicon.
