When I remux an mkv in to a m4v with subler, the m4v won't play, it isn't a recognised file type, even though it has the .m4v file extension.

I'm running Mountain Lion and have replaced the audio module that perian requires for it to work. I've also checked the mkv's to make sure they use h264 and they all do.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Are the files larger than 4GB? If they are, did you enable the upper 64-bit checkbox when saving?
