iPhone 5 - Defective battery?

After recently raving about some incredible battery life with my phone, it seems to have already bit the bullet :s! I started writing this post with 68 percent and I'm already down to 66. Location services off except Siri (which I almost never use), Bluetooth off, WiFi off, LTE off, limit ad tracking on, auto brightness on with it learned to 'dim' the way I like.

7 Mins before. This is also jus sitting on the homescreen and some iMessages.

is your useage going up even when the phone is "asleep"? Take a look at your useage number, write it down, put it to sleep and then wait 10 minutes. Check again. If it's gone up by 10, somethings running in background.

It'll go up by a minute or two. I'm aware of that thing though, I've gotten 10 hours of usage out of the same kinda 1 minute during sleep deal.
