Where is the unlocked iPhone 5 from the U.S. Apple store?

it has been 5 weeks since they opened preorders for the new iphone 5

Last year, it took five weeks for Apple to open preorders for the unlocked version in the U.S.


This year, it looks we are going to wait more




Any rumors or tips are appreciated people ;)

Last year, they released the iphone 4s in October and the unlocked version in November



This year, they released the iphone 5 in September so they should release the unlocked version in October according to their schedule of last year


They are now giving me more reasons not to buy the iphone 5

Why not buy off ebay and unlock yourself from unlock fusion? Verizon iPhones come uocked.
