Mac Mini sideways?

Anyone know if it's okay to keep a Mac Mini on its side? It would fit great sideways next to the monitor, but I want to make sure that won't cause any problems first (CD drive, hard drive, etc.).
Thanks!

It is OK, as long as you make sure not to block the Mac mini's vents... blocking the vents would not be good (it needs proper airflow in order to work properly). Check www.plasticsmith.com for some cool solutions for sideways Mac minis.

Excellent; thanks!
The new Mini is now sitting vertically beside the monitor, with enough space to breathe too. I even elevated it on one of the styrofoam endpieces that comes with a new Apple keyboard, so if some water gets spilled on the desk, the Mini won't get soaked!

Neat, looks like a big FireWire hard drive...

...but...

...no neat desk or wall paper or anything?
