iPad Mini LTE support in Oz?

I'm confused. Here suggests that the iPad Mini supports Telstra and Optus LTE. Yet here says otherwise, specifically, "It is not compatible with current Australian 4G LTE networks and WiMAX networks. "

Can anyone shed some light please? Hopefully it is just a typo carried over from the iPad 3rd gen debacle...

I've mentioned this on some other threads ... No answers yet, so no one knows or they are very sensibly asleep.

I'm sure I have read that the new iPads are compatible, and Telstra and Optus were listed during the launch on that screen with names of providers. And iPhone 5 is compatible ... So maybe that small print saying not compatible, on the apple Oz site, is something leftover from iPad 3, hasn't been updated? That's what I'm hoping.
