I know a lot of you agree that the iPad mini pricing is perfect, but I think the mini prices should have started out lower. If the mini's were just a smaller size of the iPad 4, then I wouldn't minded the higher price point and would have purchased one immediately. To me, I think the prices for this version of the mini should be:

Mini prices
$199 - 16GB WiFi
$299 - 32GB WiFi
$399 - 64GB WiFi

$329 - 16GB 4G/LTE
$429 - 32GB 4G/LTE
$529 - 64GB 4G/LTE

~discontinue iPad 2~

iPad 4 prices
$499 - 16GB WiFi
$599 - 32GB WiFi
$699 - 64GB WiFi

$629 - 16GB 4G/LTE
$729 - 32GB 4G/LTE
$829 - 64GB 4G/LTE

Congrats to all those purchasing the new iPad mini, I think it will be a success, but I'm going to wait next year for the retina version (which may be the reason the price starts at $329).

$199?

I thought $299 would be the perfect price, for marketing reasons

The N7 is a toy in comparison
