I have a bunch of excess 2GB memory modules from my HP servers. They are PC3-10600R ECC memory modules made by Samsung with HP stickers on them. Would these work in a 2009 or 2010 Mac Pro? Trying to save money on a memory upgrade. Does Apple do anything "Special" to their memory?

Apple doesn't do anything proprietary to the memory they put into their systems, including Mac Pros. But, they do have rigorous standards as to speed/timing/cooling. Check the specs and you'll know if it works.
