Wow and help me
Hi Guys,
I'm pretty new to this sort of stuff and I have googled around but I'm abit well dumb... I have installed Wow cata and on 4.0.0 but I'm trying to get to 4.0.6 now I know on PC you can get patches but how do I get them for the mac ?? If someone can please help me out that would be fantastic. Thanks heaps for your time.. Adsso |

When you launch WoW it should automatically check for updates and then launch the WoW updater if a patch is required.
That said, I think the current patch is 5.1. As far as know you cannot specifically select and install an old version of the game (e.g. 4.0.6). |

Playing a legitimate copy of WoW will always result in the latest version of the game being installed. The ONLY reason to want older versions is to play on illegal private servers.

If I'm correct if you download the new launcher it'll download the entire thing through progressive steps. So it'll always download the latest version, but it'll require the core files, and then it'll download the necessities, and then the shiny stuff.
Unless you installed from CD, it must going trying to reach the new launcher before you'll get the option of progressively playing, whilst it downloads the rest of the assets. |
