Hey there!

I have a Macbook 13'' late 2009, with Mountain Lion 10.8.2

I've been recently in the need of having Windows on my Mac to run a program that's not even Microsoft Office, but an internet business program.
I downloaded Virtualbox, receiving error:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine hector.

Failed to load VMMR0.r0 (VERR_SUPLIB_WORLD_WRITABLE).

Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole {db7ab4ca-2a3f-4183-9243-c1208da92392}

When trying to start with Windows XP or 7.

Then I tried the Parallels free trial (I still have ten more days) which came with Windows 8 preview, but required an install CD.
I switched to Windows 7, then Windows XP (which apparently I got from torrents fully functional), having the same result.

I started to change Parallels configurations and now I keep getting error 15, not being able to change configurations again, and parallels site is all for Windows 8 now.

Then I read about the XQuartz project in the forums, downloaded it from the site, but when trying to open it, nothing happens.
I'm not being able to create a partition from the Disk Utilitary.
I'd like to know how to use the XQuartz or how can I get this successfully done.

Thanks!
