iMac calibration
Hi, I have change my mind and will be gettin the new iMac 27".
Need to calibrate the iMac monitor. Thinking of colormunki or the Spyder pro. I need to calibrate my printers too along with my tv. Any tips on these products? Thank you Scott |

I owned the Spyder 4. I used it a few times and didn't have any problems with it. It prompts you ever so often to recalibrate. After calibrating, I found that AdobesRGB was 95% as accurate as the calibrated monitor, so I ended up selling it.

Don't use the Spyder on an iMac, it sucks. The X-Rite i1Display Pro is a better choice.

Why is X-Rite better?

My old Spyder3 works just fine on my HP monitor connected to my rMBP. I can't think of any reason why it will not work on the old or new iMac screens.
