My uncle tested his LTE in front of me today (this would be in Garland, near Dallas) and he got 29 mb down lmao. My Edge felt so so so pathetic. I can't wait until T-Mobile rolls out LTE next summer.

I average between 25 - 35, and sometimes up to 50 on AT&T.

Most of the time I get between 7 and 12 Mbps but the other day in the East Village I got 56.25.

AT&T in Sacramento.
Lowest is around 10Mbps downspeed when maybe signal is low or traffic is high. But the highest in my results page is 58.07d/22.65u Mbps. Needless to say, happy I have the iPhone 5 with LTE and grandfathered unlimited data plan.

It depends where you are, how much traffic is on the particular tower, how far from it you are and many other variables.
Its not the same everywhere. |

New York City
25-35 down average during the day. Best I've seen around 45-50. It all depend where you are and what time of day it is as certain time of day tower traffic is heavy. NYC has good LTE covereage. |

I had the same thing happen to me, I was getting lower speeds that some friends of mine with the same phone and AT&T LTE. They ended up replacing my phone and now I have no issues. Maybe some phones come with anthena issues.

Yes, I get great LTE service from Marin down through the mid Peninsula and the East Bay. Will be interesting to see as I travel about more.

Has anyone tried AT&T's LTE in Portland, Oregon yet? AT&T's 3G service has gotten really bad here in the past year. I was considering jumping ship to Verizon when I get my iPhone 5, but I'm grandfathered into AT&T's unlimited data plan and would prefer to stay, if their LTE connectivity is better than their 3G.
