Stuck at Windows XP loading screen - Please help!

I'm having some major problems with my bootcamp. Recently I reset my pram on my mac mini, (I was having problems being stuck on a white screen during reboot). Now ever since I reset the pram, I can no longer access my Windows XP using bootcamp. When I restart --> hold down option key --> select Windows drive. I get stuck on the Windows XP loading screen, it's not completely frozen, the loading bar moves slowly, but never progresses to start-up. I've left it for hours and it just stays on that screen.

I should also mention that ever since I reset my pram my fan on the mac mini is on high at all times, I can't seem to fix that either.

Any help with ANY of this would be really appreciated.
