2.6 i7 256gb ssd results

Guys stop being lazy and use the 'search' function on the forum. Literially the thread two down from this has the results. I posted them from my i7 2.6 Mac Mini with 16GB of ram and Apple 256 SSD two days ago and today.

The SSD is a Samsung based PM 830 with custom Apple firmware.

11800 points with an i7 2.6GHz + 16GB RAM + SSD. Other exact configurations go around 13000. Results vary A LOT for what I've seen. Can't really understand why. :confused:

throw it in cinebench 11.5. Way more interesting as it does 64bit by default, and tests video performance too.

So how does the score of 13119 relate to other products? Is it a good score?
What does that score mean against a score of, let's say, 11000?

It's a benchmark... Check this for a full list of different models.
Here you have all 2012 mid level minis, including 2.3 and 2.6GHz.

You can list only 2.6GHz models here.

I currently have a 2010 Mini. I prepared some simple tests of the tasks I usually do and measured the time needed to do them. I then did them all with a 2012 MBA. Difference is huge. Will do them in my new 2012 Mini (same config as the one you want, although I'll be adding the RAM myself) as soon as I got it up and running.

Will post results here, as these geekbench tests are that, tests. Benchmarks. Hitting 11000 or 11500 doesn't mean anything to me. I wanna see how my machine performs in the tasks I do everyday.

Thanx. I know they're just benchmarks, but man.. that Mac Mini is mine in a couple of weeks. It's a beast.

I got it already up and running. Fully configured. Installed the extra RAM and all that. Already did my tests. Will create a thread with them.

This machine is indeed a beast. :D
