I'm in Canada also ... thought I would pass this along to you all....

http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_326_327_609&item_id=044977

I constantly buy RAM from Canada computers, always cheaper and never had an issue.

So $69.00 - $5.00 = $64.99 + P&H

Thanks for that link - I always forget about those guys. Though a good price with 1 tax and shipping I can get similar for the same price locally...of course I still have to pull the trigger on my order (boo me I know) as I am torn between getting 3rd party SSD or not (money is not an issue fwiw) and whether to get the ATD or Dell 27" U2711 or not (I can get it for $599+taxes)

So many choices...of course do I wait for the 27" iMac w/dedicated graphics and possible retina? GAAAAAHHHH....:eek::mad:
So many emotions

The problem is it is 1.5V memory. Apple RAM is 1.35V memory.

So by doing this you are risking potential issues running ram at a higher voltage than speced out by Apple.

That was proven incorrect in another thread (i'll link it when I find it unless someone else has it quicker than I) based on a tear-down that was done...

Would be interesting to know. how safe for long term use as well. I took the safe route and ordered the Mac certified 1.35V cas 11 ram from Crucial. (16GB kit)

nothing wrong with that at all either - a reason for my reticence on using my Mushkin SSD

What's the difference between PC3 10666 and PC3 12800? Is the speed difference that noticeable?
