Hello there,

I have been quite fed up with Mac OS X 10.7.5 in regards to how annoyingly BUGGY it is.

But here is the main gripe that I have with it now--> whenever I take out a USB device out from one of my MBP's 2 usb ports, OS X goes crazy and suddenly makes 2.28GB inactive!!

I have 8GB of RAM and I only have safari and activity monitor open, so please don't lecture me that all my memory is being put to good use- the whole computer becomes a snail.

Also check the screenshot.

Anyone know how to fix it (hope its not to buy Mountain Lion ;))

I see SystemUIserver is chewing up over 3GB, and that is not normal. That process runs things like menu add ons and menu bar add ons... that sort of thing. Do you have any UI addons running that might be causing this?

I see Cheatsheet running there. That might be the culprit.

Try disabling any menu or menu bar or UI helper apps of any sort you have running, then restart and see how it goes.

Hi there,

Thanks! It seems like the OS has stopped suffering the memory issues after removing cheat sheet :)
