2 days ago I sold my new Ip5 for $800, I thought was a best deal, but today IP5 selling on craigslist is very hot item right now. Price of brand new Ip5 16GB shoots up to $950 to $1000 USD.. They all ship to Mexico grey market for sure

I will gladly sell a 64Gig black iPhone 5 for $1400 USD ^_^

I'm pretty far away from Mexico though and not sure how to find a legit buyer at that kind of price...

A few idiots may have panicked and paid that for them. It's not like an injunction will be put in place. This also started with a filing from Apple to attempt to collect the trademark from the other company. The verge mentions it.

You do realize that is in Mexican Pesos, right?
A quick conversion takes that to around $850, still expensive, but better.

That's why I didn't put the dollar sign. I did the google chrome translate of the page and it said $11,000. And that's just for the 16gb, apparently the iPhone 4 isn't free over there

Ahh ok, that makes sense. Well in any case, watch out for foreign currency and other varying standards :p

well if they stop selling it in mexico that just means more units for other places that are in need of stock.

but i doubt they will stop selling it and its not like there is that big of a market for the iPhone in mexico anyway keep in mind that most people in mexico are very poor.
