Office:mac 2008 multiple users problem
Spouse and I have Macbook Pro and Macbook, respectively and one (1) copy of MS Office:mac 2008 which we have installed on both devices. We both use Lion OS.
When we are both using wifi and both attempt to use any of the Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.) at the same time one of us is blocked and we are told that the software is in use.
We have tried unloading and reloading the suite on both systems (and applying all the updates) in the hope that we would be able to insert the different product keys (there are three) that were provided on the back of the cd pocket but we are invited at any time to provide the product key when we re-load.
I am baffled. Clearly the package is permitted to be used on three devices and we are only attempting use on two but it seems the software detects a conflict when both systems are in use.
Any ideas out there?
