Ok so, my brother ran into a bit of a problem last night. I suppose he had some error while updating from iOS 6 to 6.0.1
Anyway, his iPhone (3GS) is stuck on the connect to iTunes logo.
I connected it to my Mac and tried restoring it but upon downloading the newest version of the OS and attempting to restore, it shows this message.
While his phone is in Recovery mode, I can't put it into DFU mode as his power button no longer works. Is there anyway to salvage this situation? He isn't concerned about losing data, he just wants his phone to be operational.
Or is it permanently bricked since I can't put it in DFU mode?
