Things are better. We're in a recovery. That's why gas prices are so high. Lol

What I said was it would be a landslide by either candidate or Romney would win by dubious means

But here's my original pick.

The 49-43 is the Senate and Obama and the Democrats need 51 for control. If they get the White House, which every indication shows as both candidates are winning the states they were predicted to win, then two things are in the democrat's control, the White House and the Senate.

As of now, CBS reports the House of Representatives is in republican control.

The presidential race according to the site is 184 for Romney, 167 for Obama, but with the likelihood of the 74 electoral votes of the west coast OR, WA, CA going to the president means Romney has to win several battleground states analysts said that were clearly in Obama's territory at most of yesterday's polls. If Obama reaches 196 before he hits the Pacific Ocean, it's all over for Romney. This means Iowa, Ohio, and New Mexico for Obama and it's done. The president will likely get more than just that with Nevada, Virginia, and Florida up for grabs. Alaska will go Romney and Hawaii for Obama.

1130 PM EST, Obama at 274 according to CBS so presidential race is over.

Edit: Todd Akin is now giving a somewhat ungracious confession speech.

Do the republicans also have to get 51 for control?

Maybe Romney is busy writing his "this country sucks, hope you all die" speech.

51 is the majority, the Dems have a better chance to reach it.

Senate, need 51 for majority.

And looks like the VA Dem Senator is in the lead. That would be 51 for Dems.

Elizabeth Warren wins in Massachusetts! So very happy about this one. A Republican sitting in Ted Kennedy's super democratic seat was just wrong. And the Dems gain another Senate seat.

Just realized that for the first time since 1989, Todd Akin will not represent me on either the state or federal level. He's been my representative since I was 2 years old.

Teddy was in that seat so long the ass indent must of been huge. We really don't need any more Kennedys in office. Time for some young blood to get in.

Massachusetts approved medical marijuana also. Good for them.

I'm really interested in the Washington state legalizing pot. The polls had it winning by 57%-35%
