Battlefield 2142 on my Macbook.

Could my Macbook run Battlefield 2142?, my Macbook has 4 GB RAM, 256GB VRAM on a Nvidia9400M, and a 2 Ghz Intel core 2 duo. I plan on running the game on my Windows partition, if that helps.

It will run I used to have the same MacBook but with 2GB ram, and I could decently play the Mac port of the game (which was pretty badly done).

Are there still a lot of servers running Battlefield 2142?

MacBook Pro Early 2011 run Battlefield 2142?

I am keen to install Battlefield 2142 on my MacBook Pro, however, the recommended specs indicate a graphics card that I don't have..

My laptop has Intel HD Graphics 3000 512MB with 8GB RAM and 2.7Gh Intel Core i7.

Q1) Does anyone know whether this is a capable machine to run BF2142? I don't mind if the frame rate is say 30FPS instead of 50+, I just really want to play the game (I used to have it on my PC).

Q2) Can Mac users play online with PC users?

Q3) Additionally, Amazon shows it costing 45+ ... ouch, any good sources for NEW?

Thanks,

Rob.
