The only way I am aware of is unfortunately syncing through itunes which leads to crappy integration on apples part. Once the event/album of pictures you want are imported you can't delete them individually from the phone. The only way to do so which still leaves the originals intact is you have to copy them all to a newly made folder in order to delete them and then you still have the imported originals (photo library) that you don't want anymore. I assumed the copies in the new folder would not be removed unchecking the sync photo album but when I did it removed what I had imported and the copies in the new folder. This is ridiculous, how do I get them to stay?
