Subtitle Question...Help!!

This may have been discussed elsewhere, so excuse me if this is a repeat.

I was watching a purchased iTunes version of Transformers HD and I noticed that when the movie had a translation scene, the words were on the screen in 2 locations.

Is there a setting to make this only show up once??

Typically it shows up on the left side and then under the movie below the widescreen bar, in the black area of the TV.

Thoughts??
