[Price Advice] 2011 13 MacBook Pro (Base Model) Brand New sealed in Apple shipping box

What do you think a Brand New - Factory sealed - full 1 year warranty 2011 MacBook Pro 13inch base model could sell for on CL? eBay completed auctions is around 975-1025 I believe from my research. Thanks for opinions.

if you have there a Early 2011 version you can get $750. If it is a Late 2011 you can fetch maybe $900.

Two observations tough:

a) Maybe the Apple Care is now expired. I dont know any form to check it out without opening the box

b) Beware of Craig List. Too many lowballers/scam artists

A 2011 model was probably sold by Apple last year and may have no warranty left. The warranty begins when Apple sells it. It may be too late to buy Applecare as well.

I suspect it is stolen or used and re-packaged. anyone can shrink wrap a box easily enough.

2011 LATE model

Its brand new - serial never been registered will be able to show proof of purchase from authorized apple seller to get warranty placed 1 year from now. I am wanting to sell them. What do you think they are worth?
