Is there a reason why uTorrent can't download but Transmission can?
I've been a long time uTorrent user but recently after 24+ hours trying to download a torrent gave Transmission a quick shot. Within a minute it fully downloaded the torrent where as uTorrent never even latched onto a peer.

Duff-Man says...perhaps the tracker that particular torrent was on does not allow uTorrent - I know there are some that do not allow certain client software....oh yeah!

Can you link to the torrent file? Maybe it's just your computer.

I can't provide the specific torrent link because it's a private torrent site and the torrent won't work without my key. But interesting about certain clients not working. Poking around on uTorrent I clicked the "tracker" tab and I now see it actually says "Failure: access denied, banned client"!
I didn't even know this happens? That must be it. Why are some clients banned? What's wrong with uTorrent?

Some torrent clients could be banned because they are leech only, or report bad data or automatically include malware. Dunno why uTorrent is banned though.
