Ok ok, so everyone knows that dead pixels are just a fact of modern electronics and that Apple will happily swap out a device with dead pixels (at least within the initial 14 day period).

However, I've gone through four (yes, four) iPad minis which each had 2 stuck pixels, and one iPad 4 which had two dead pixels.

Is anyone finding the latest iPad models to be particularly prone to these problems or have I just been unlucky?

You're just unlucky... I've had 2 iPad Minis and zero stuck pixels. I even checked with a RGB-Black color screens on both.

My first screen came loose at the bezel and had to go back though.

I bought a open box ipad 4 from best buy, had a dead pixel, prolly why it was returned in the first place.... Bought a ipad mini at launch, it had dust under the screen, returned it and got another one I have not even opened yet, trying to decide if I want an lte one.
