iPad mini or 4 you mean since you can only get used iPad 3s.

They included siri to the mini to boost sales? I believed there are many features that can be included to older Ipad, Iphone or Ipod but apple chose to neglect them so that new models can draw more buyers.

For all i know, Ipad 1 might even support siri if they wanted it to have. Specs might not be the only factor.

Could also be they want to limit the load on siri to a smaller number of devices.

At the end of the day only apply truly knows.
