In the Nexus.
I gave it a shot. Basically my Mac Pro with a GTX680 was a little bit slower in the first benchmark (ca. 3000) and a little bit faster in the last benchmark (5600) at the same settings as mentioned in the article.

Looks like the NVIDIA driver delivers similar performance on Mac/Win/Linux.

Ok, it was a permission issue; fixed permission to RWX for my user and all admins and now it does work.

System in sign scored...

GiMark: 3069 (51FPS)
FurMark: 2723 (45FPS)

It seems very AMD optimized compared to NVIDIA. (furmark part)
The GTX680 scoring 3000ish while a 5870 scoring 2700 and a GTX285 2000.
The 5870 should be much closer to a 285 than a 680 in terms of real world performance.

I can see from win7 that it scores 5.2k on 7970 and 3.1k on GTX680, where most benchmarks a GTX680 would be pretty much equal or slightly faster than a 7970.
