iPad Mini's hijacked from JFK airport: can they be tracked?

http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-57550353-1/$1.5-million-worth-of-ipad-mini-tabs-stolen-from-jfk/

So, is there a way for Apple to "black list" these iPads?

Can these iPads be tracked once they access the internet?

This is the #1 trend on Yahoo right now and Mac Rumors is not even covering it!!!
