Problems with changing the avatar
I have uploaded a new avatar: smoking costume with white background.
Then, I wanted to change the background to gray, so it suits the forum.
I have edited the background to make it gray, and uploaded the new avatar.
However, for some strange reason, you could see the new avatar only at my profile page and my avatar edit page:
<--- If you look on my posts, you see that the background is still white.
Was waiting for a lot of time (more than a day) - still no change.
Then, I have uploaded the Pacman avatar, and it changed in 2 hours correctly.
The next day, I have uploaded the new costume avatar again, but for some strange reason, the old costume avatar activated (I thought, it was already deleted automatically by the system) - same situation as before Pacman avatar.
I wonder if avatars are moderated manually, and somebody doesn't notice the difference between old and new.

No, the Avatar system is automatic and can take a while to update. I can see your newly edited version fine. Try emptying your browsers cache, that often does the trick, but its displaying fine here.
