I have a few computers that have been compromised i believe with the evil maid attack.. In researching online I have not been able to find a solution to remove this attack. I believe the solution is to restore the EFI of the systems effected. Yet, apple stopped providing efi firmware restore cds.

There solution is to bring the systems into apple to get them looked at and fixed.

Does anyone know of a solution of then this to correct the effected systems.

Thanks,

From your title, I was expecting a story about an actual evil maid attacking you or your computer. :p Sorry about your virus (I'm assuming thats what it is).

I tried downloading the update firmware and smc and I get an error message saying this software is not supported on your system.

any way to force the update?
