So I went back & looked at all the release dates for the iPads. Besides the original iPad that was released on a Saturday, every other model dropped on a Friday.
1st generation:
Sat. April 3, 2010 (Wi-Fi)[2][3]
Fri. April 30, 2010 (Wi-Fi + 3G)[4]
iPad 2:
Fri. March 11, 2011 (United States)
3rd generation:
Fri. March 16, 2012
4th generation and Mini:
Fri. November 2, 2012
Now the question remains, IF it does go on sale tomorrow WHEN will we know? Or do we just waltz down to the store in hopes of it being "in stock".
Anyone have any insight? IMO I don't see why they would ship them out now, only to have the average customer wait a week until they can purchase in store.
