MacBook Pro 17" Core 2 Duo, worth it?

I want to get the 2010 i5's with the nvidia gt 330m for some casual gaming, but those are a bit over my budget.

the next best thing is the intel core 2 duo with the 9600m video cards....

This technology is severly dated, but was wondering, how much would you pay for this:

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor; and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory3
Graphics memory 512MB GDDR3

Display 17-inch (diagonal) high-resolution LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 1920-by-1200 resolution
Expansion One FireWire 800 port (up to 800 Mbps), three USB 2.0 ports (up to 480 Mbps), ExpressCard/34 slot

Thanks all.

The last of the Core 2 Duo 17" were made in Mid 2009.

For the 2.8 Ghz, they would run anywhere from $800 to $1000 depending on condition in the stock configuration.
